Springfield Oregon is located in the bottom of the Willamette Valley on the east side of Eugene Oregon. Springfield is right off Interstate 5 and a short 5-10 min drive to Downtown Eugene or the U of O campus.

It is believed that Springfield Oregon is the famous “Typical American Town” behind the acclaimed Twentieth Century Fox Film “The Simpsons.” Check out the life-sized Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie at the Springfield Museum. While you are checking out Downtown Springfield make sure you stop by the new Simpson mural on 5th and Main St.

 

The Eugene, Cascades & Coast Adventure Center and Cabela’s Outfitters also chose Springfield Oregon as their home. With the Willamette and McKenzie River on the north and south side of Springfield, it is a natural gateway to the region’s outdoor adventures. Springfield has the best location to cater to the large number of outdoor enthusiasts that pass through the community each year.
